after prepositions such as "avec" (with), "sans" (without), "pour" (for), "chez" (at the house of), etc.
Reste avec moi. Stay with me.
Je parle avec lui tous les jours. I speak with him every day.
Je parle à lui de mon projet. I speak to him about my project.
Tu viens avec nous ? Are you coming with us?
Je peux pas vivre sans toi. I can't live without you.

comparisons
Pas autant que moi. Not as much as me.
T'as fait mieux que moi. You did it better than me.
with "c'est"
Qui est là ? Who's there?
C'est moi. It's me.
C'est eux. It's them.
to indicate possession with "à"
C'est arrivé à un pote à moi. It happened to a friend of mine.
Tiens, c'est à toi. Here, it's yours.
Je suis à toi. I am yours.
À qui est ce sac ? Whose bag is it?
- C'est à eux. - It's theirs.
responsibility or duty with "à"
À toi de choisir. It's up to you to choose.
C'est à elle d'expliquer. It's up to her to explain.
indicating the recipient of thanks with "à"
